Our Romy baskets have been lovingly handmade by highly skilled female artisans in Borneo, Indonesia. Incredibly smooth and beautifully detailed these natural handwoven baskets have been carefully crafted by plaiting together the finest rattan, half of which has been hand dyed with a vegetable dye indigenous to the Dayak people of Borneo. Many of the baskets hold symbolic meaning in their individual pattern.
